Role and Responsibilities

Financial Controlling & Reporting

  • Financial Cycle: Participate actively in monthly closing, forecasting, and financial controlling processes.
  • Planning & Budgeting: Support the preparation of the annual budget, periodical target plans, and investment planning.
  • Investment Control: Monitor, track, and control ongoing investment projects.
  • Stakeholder Management: Create detailed financial reports, cost analyses, and custom presentations for HQ and R&D Leaders.

Process Optimization, AI & Automation

  • Process Automation: Identify opportunities to optimize, automate, and streamline daily controlling and reporting processes to significantly reduce manual work.
  • Tool Development: Design, build, and continuously improve modern reporting tools, interactive dashboards, and advanced data analysis solutions.
  • AI & Data Innovation: Support the implementation of data-driven, scalable, and AI-supported analytical solutions (e.g., smart workflows, automated anomaly detection, predictive forecasting).
  • Data Quality & Collaboration: Cooperate closely with cross-functional teams to improve overall data quality, system integrations, and reporting efficiency.

Skills and Qualifications

·       Professional Experience: 3-4 years of experience in financial controlling, financial analysis, or a similar analytical/reporting role.

·       Education: Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

·       Language Skills: Good command of English (written and spoken) to operate comfortably in a multinational corporate environment.

·       Spreadsheet Master: Very good, practical knowledge of MS Excel (financial modeling, advanced formulas).

·       Data & Analytics (Strong Advantage): Hands-on experience or working knowledge of Power Query, Power BI, SQL, VBA, or Python.

·       Deep interest in AI and modern digital solutions within finance.

·       Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to connect the dots, identify process inefficiencies, and propose logical, practical improvements.

·       Change Driver: Proactive, curious, and continuous-improvement mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing status quo processes and drive change.

·       Adaptability & Collaboration: Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-moving, global environment.
