Internship - Network Automation Intern

About our Team

We build the software that configures, monitors, and optimizes networks for customers around the globe. Our work sits at the intersection of cloud-native development and cutting-edge networking — from Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and network automation to the future of mobile infrastructure.

Joining our team means shipping code that has real-world impact from day one. You’ll be embedded in the full development cycle of SDN and Network Automation projects, learning how modern networks actually work — and helping shape what comes next.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Work side-by-side with engineers across the full development cycle - design, implement, review, ship.
  • Take ownership of real features that land in production and affect global customers.
  • Dig into live codebases, understand how things work, and leave them better than you found them.

Skills and Qualifications

  • You code in at least one of: Python, Go, Java, or C++ - and you understand why OOP exists, not just how to use it.
  • You’ve poked around enterprise routers or switches (real hardware or a simulator counts).
  • When someone mentions IPv4/6, DNS, or DHCP, you know what’s actually happening on the wire.
  • You can read a PR, write a comment, and hold a technical conversation in English.
  • You’re studying CS, Electronics, Telecoms, or something adjacent - if networks are your thing, we really want to hear from you.

Nice to have

You’ll stand out if you bring any of the following - but don’t let a missing checkbox stop you from applying:

  • You’ve heard of SDN, Segment Routing, or OpenFlow - bonus if you’ve played with any of them.
  • You know what happens to a packet inside a Linux kernel or a Kubernetes cluster.
  • You’ve set up or worked with a CI/CD pipeline and know why it matters.
  • Spring or Hibernate rings a bell from a project or a course.
  • You’re comfortable switching between two or more OOP languages without losing your mind.
  • You know your way around classic algorithms and data structures - and when to actually reach for them.
