We work closely with other Samsung R&D teams to develop the next-generation intelligent personal assistants. We change the way billions of users access, explore, and interact with knowledge, information, and services. Role and Responsibilities

  • Development of language resources (text processing rules, normalization rules, pronunciation dictionaries, speech databases) for text-to-speech and speech-to-text models for Hebrew language
  • Evaluation of text-to-speech and speech-to-text systems for Hebrew
  • Collaboration with an internal team of language experts and engineers

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hebrew Philology, Linguistics, Computational Linguistics or a related field
  • Expertise in Hebrew grammar
  • Good command of English
  • Basic text processing skills (regex, handling CSV/TSV files)

Nice to have

  • Native speaker of Hebrew
  • Hands-on experience with current TTS and ASR systems
  • Expertise in Hebrew phonology
  • Experience in audio processing
  • Familiarity with Natural Language Processing concepts
  • Basic scripting and programming skills (bash, python)
  • Basic understanding of machine learning
  • Command of other languages (European)
