About our Team

We invite you to the one of the largest speech and language processing teams in Europe. We work closely with other R&D teams to develop and test our next-generation personal Intelligent Assistant and Samsung Software. In our lab engineers, researchers, and linguists work together on innovative products for the multilingual European market. We define the way users access, explore and interact with devices, knowledge, information, and services.

• Performing tasks consisting in language resources processing (text localization, translation, transcription, annotation, error detection, speech recordings, corpora collection, etc.)  
• Participation in processes of verification, analysis and normalization of text and audio language resources
• Post-edition of machine-translated content
• Development of new linguistic resources or other linguistic tasks based on actual project needs
• Analysis of annotated data in terms of issues verification, annotation metrics analysis and reporting 
• Language corpora augmentation with domain-specific text and audio data
• On-device testing of language resources
• Reported issues verification
• Providing linguistic expertise and linguistic support for various projects
• Collaboration with NLP experts, engineers and 3^rd party companies on language-specific developments
• Proactively self-developing in terms of skills and knowledge based on normalization protocols
• Time availability: depending on project needs (min. 24h/week, max. 40h/week)

• University degree in Language Studies, Translation, Interpreting or related fields
• Proven knowledge (C1-C2 level) of one of following European languages: Dutch (nl-NL)
• Fluency in English (at least level C1)
• Previous experience in linguistics, translation, content creation, proofreading, computational linguistics, etc.
• Deep knowledge of the target-languages speaking countries cultures
• Efficiency, accuracy and interest in creating linguistic data
• Collaborative and helpful approach in terms of close team cooperation 
• Ability to support several projects at one time and to accept re-prioritization as necessary
• Ability to quickly understand and be updated on guidelines and policies defined for the product
• An analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
• Very strong communication skills
• Attention to details
• Practical knowledge of Windows environment
• Highly motivated to learn and develop

• Previous experience in NLP
• Knowledge in field of prompt engineering and LLMs technologies
• General knowledge of NLP, LLMs, MT, computational linguistics and/or programming skills
• Experience in working in crowdsourcing framework and/or long-term stay experience in one of target-language speaking countries (Romania, Germany)
• Reasonably good command of another European language (B2 level and above)
• Practical knowledge of formal grammars and syntax or Python
• Being updated with the latest technologies and research in the field
• Understanding of NLP techniques for text representation
